Technology Review and whats comming in future posts

Well the wait is over I have been thinking about this for weeks/months now, I finally went ahead and placed that order, and yes the postman delivered three largest box's  this morning. The delivery was kind of expected tomorrow, as we/I live on and Island it normally takes a day or two more for the post to arrive, however prompt delivery is not a bad thing, it did what it said on the tin.

Anyway the contents of the boxes will be analysed poked prodded and my thoughts and possibly others will be added over the coming weeks. Any way the contents of the boxes.

Box One
Box Two
Box Three
They replace
Box one contained
a very nice eye poping
wide screen  monitor
Box two contained
again a nice wide
screen monitor
Box three containeda nice'ish  gaming keyboard
They replace
two 17" flats creens
and an old tired keyboard

What will be driving all this and what will be tested, and on what.
Right the anatomy of the beast. Intel core two duo 3Ghz 64X monster, feeding an Ati Radeon HD 3870,
all running under the latest Enterprise version of windows 7 64X

I will be feeding the monster NFS Shift, Grid, Flight sim X, as well as some others that I wont mention yet. I am not really into first person shooters or combat games however I will be feeding the monster some off those as well, just to round out the test, which I hope will not lead to destruction of man or machine.

Testing for some is a choir

I have been busy off late with a few things, one playing a new game and Beta Testing a new peace off software.
Now this software item is a novel item which allows you to at a whim to broadcast the contents of a Windows PC's Window to the rest off the world. For example you could sit the other side off the world and watch me compose this article if I had chosen to broadcast this window, great trilling I here you say, well it can broadcast the contents off a game window to, you can  share a link with a friend and they can  watch an tell you where your going wrong.

Great though this is it concerns me that this service requires that you log in with Administrator privileges, now if something was to go wrong with this process and someone gets control of your PC via this method they can do what ever they want they are an administrator after all. Now here comes the rub while I have been using this software I have caught some nasties trying to run on my computer great a recipe for disaster. Well all in the name of a Beta Test, Ile clone my Hard-disk and open the firewall like they ask just don't expect me to use that Operating System afterwards. You would be a mug to fall for that one. Well they maybe genuine, maybe not Iam sure you wont blame me under the circumstances.

House keeping

Well its been a while, I thing my main problem was I limited my reponses to Alpha/Beta. As you may have noticed I have had a twiddle with few things I've change the title, Tweaked a few other settings. Ive relegated the News Feed to a link only instead of that ugly box thing that was their.

I will have to see if their is a way to edit the XeeSM gadget, on a small side note I here their is big things in the works for XeeSM Secret code name ALASKA, its all very hush hush at the moment, more when I am aloud to reveal more. I still know very little about it I will know more by then end off the weak. Want a beta invite then contact me I know someone, but its by Invite only at this stage.

The only other thing worthy of note is that Google Wave is opening its doors to Beta Testers on Wednesday. This application from what I've read is hoped to replace email. Well I don't know, Axels as XeeSM thinks so to I think that their is plenty of life in the old dog yet, all they have to do is deal spam that's all, if ONLY.
